System Tab -> GK Setting Tab - PU Type GK-3, Scale ST, PU Phase Normal, PU Direction Normal, s1/s2 Position Normal, Norm PU Gain 0dB

DIS Tab 10mm for all strings, SEN Tab 70 for 1st and 2nd strings, 50 for the rest

VEL Tab 5, 3, 5 top to bottom

NUA Tab 5 and 5 for both settings

DOW Tab Shift 0

TONE Tab PCM1: 016 level 100 Chrom On, Legato off, LVS 0, VCT Tone, Nuance on. PCM2: 003 level 75

Ableton Control of GR-55 Patch Selection

Only user patches can be selected from an external MIDI device

Use a MIDI cable to connect the computer MIDI out to the GR-55 MIDI in
Ensure that the GR-55 PC RX Switch is enabled to recieve external midi program change (this is the default value)
Ensure that the GR-55 MAP SELECT is set to the default value, FIX,??and not PRG
Make an empty new MIDI clip with the following settings:

Sub-Bank must be 1 or None
Set Bank and Program to the values provided by the Patch Computer below

When the clip is played the bank will change
Copy the MIDI clip for each patch that you wish to be able to select and set the Bank and Program accordingly
